What is a Reseal of Grant?
If a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration has already been issued in another state or country, and there are assets in Australia (like a bank account or property), you may need a Reseal of Grant to deal with those assets locally. A reseal means the Supreme Court recognises the original grant so it can be used here without having to start the probate process from scratch.
